Privacy Statement
Last updated: 4 July 2026
This Privacy Statement explains how StudioGro handles personal information when you visit the website, invite the Discord bot, configure paid channels, subscribe to a channel, send a tip, connect Stripe, or contact us.
1. Contact Details
For privacy requests, access or correction requests, complaints, or general questions, contact StudioGro at contact@studiogro.app.
2. Personal Information We Collect
StudioGro may collect Discord server IDs, Discord user IDs, channel IDs, role IDs, command usage needed to provide the service, subscription status, Stripe customer IDs, Stripe checkout session IDs, Stripe subscription IDs, connected account IDs, tip records, billing event status, support messages, and basic technical information such as timestamps and logs.
StudioGro does not intentionally collect full card numbers. Payment details are handled by Stripe through Stripe Checkout, Stripe Billing, and Stripe Connect.
3. How We Collect Information
Information is collected from Discord when commands are used or when role access is managed, from Stripe when payments, subscriptions, tips, webhooks, or payouts are processed, from server owners during setup, and from users who contact StudioGro directly.
4. Why We Use Information
StudioGro uses information to operate paid channels, create checkout links, process tips, route payouts, grant or remove Discord roles, manage billing portal access, troubleshoot support issues, secure the service, prevent misuse, maintain records, and comply with legal, tax, risk, and platform requirements.
5. Disclosure to Service Providers
StudioGro uses third-party services to operate the product, including Discord for server functionality, Stripe for payment processing and payouts, hosting providers for the website and bot, database providers for service records, and email or support tools where needed. These providers may store or process information in Australia or overseas, including the United States and other regions where their infrastructure operates.
6. Storage and Security
StudioGro takes reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, and disclosure. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so server owners should also protect their Discord and Stripe accounts with strong access controls.
7. Access and Correction
You may request access to personal information StudioGro holds about you or ask for it to be corrected by emailing contact@studiogro.app. We may need to verify your identity or your connection to a Discord server before responding.
8. Complaints
If you have a privacy complaint, contact us first at contact@studiogro.app with the details. We will review the complaint and aim to respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
9. Retention
StudioGro keeps records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal or tax obligations, resolve disputes, enforce terms, maintain audit trails, or support Stripe and Discord integration requirements. Some records may remain in backups or logs for a limited period.
10. Changes to This Statement
StudioGro may update this Privacy Statement as the service, legal requirements, or third-party integrations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
