Invite StudioGro and configure your server.

  • Click the invite link and choose your Discord server.
  • Allow StudioGro to manage roles, manage channels, and use slash commands.
  • Open Discord and run the setup command below.

Connect Stripe and start accepting payments.

  • Run the payout setup command in Discord.
  • Open the Stripe onboarding link StudioGro sends you.
  • Finish Stripe onboarding so subscription money can be paid out.
Example split

Member pays AUD $10. StudioGro keeps its platform fee and the remaining balance is routed to the server owner's Stripe payout account before Stripe fees.

Create paid channels for your content.

  • Create one Discord role and one private channel for each subscription you want to sell.
  • Name the role and channel after the content members are buying.
  • You do not have to use Premium. Use names that fit your offer, such as Entry, Pro, Signals, Coaching, or VIP.
  • Allow the matching role to view the channel and block @everyone from viewing it.
  • Run one setup command for each channel and role pair.

Create #premium-pro and @Premium Pro for higher-value content, alerts, or coaching.

Use cents: 500 is AUD $5, 1000 is AUD $10, and 2500 is AUD $25.

Members subscribe and keep access while active.

  • A member runs the subscribe command in Discord.
  • StudioGro sends them a Stripe Checkout link.
  • After payment, StudioGro gives them the subscriber role.
  • If the subscription ends or payment fails, StudioGro removes access.
Billing portal

Members can use Stripe's billing portal to update their card, view billing details, manage subscriptions, or cancel anytime.

Add a subscriber guide to your server.

  • Create a public channel like #how-to-subscribe or #premium-info.
  • Paste the example message below into that channel.
  • Pin the message so new members can always find it.

Want premium access? Run the subscribe command below, pay through Stripe, and StudioGro will unlock the channel automatically. To update your card or cancel later, run the billing portal command.

Member tips

Let members tip with emoji reactions.

  • Run the normal server setup and connect Stripe payouts first.
  • Members can react to a message with a tip emoji.
  • StudioGro sends the member a private Stripe Checkout link.
  • The tip is only charged after the member completes Stripe Checkout.
  • In single creator mode, tips route to the server owner's Stripe account minus the StudioGro platform fee.
